I miss the Blues and the Greys


As misleading as that photo is, I still love it. Because I was wearing my uniform again. I got to remember everything, know what it's like donning it on, 'living' as a Cedarian. I miss everything about it. Even the gross facts like how for one, I was pretty much a loser with no post; definitely not a high flyer. You know, just one of those metals that tarnished the fastest.

Or how I mega-crushed on my Lit teacher (Hello Mr Sng if you're reading this, yeah, nothing abnormal huh, just a day in the life of The Lit Teacher everyone's talking about. Gosh I hope someone does some major ego-bruising to make up for all of it! HAHA.)

Or how there was perpetually Drama left right up down. Either in class, or CCA or friends, or even teachers! Heh.

Or how spirited everyone was!



Be Yourself Day 2005. Honestly, I don't think I've ever met a bunch of people as passionate (or nuts, depending on which angle you're looking at, lol) as the ones I've met in Cedar.

Or how bitchy everyone can get. It's like Bitchy 101. (or slutty but let's not go there)But I did meet friends, just friends but still friends. I had a lovely class for the second half of my four year stint there.

As a matter of fact, I do miss that dreadful yellow too. And ugh, those jogging days and the whole level cheering together whenever they annouce that jogging's cancelled due to the rain. Yes, we all happen to cheer the same way/thing. It's like you'll hear one voice. The "wooooooh"s and "hahaha"s are indeed synchronised! Recall courtyard days when something funny happens during morning assembly? (:



Oooh and courtyard! *points above* Very possibly the first time I spoke in front of such a large crowd! (ie Whole School, Wednesday Reflections)

Of course, there was Delphinus! Dear dear Delphinus! (A lot of drama can be credited to this CCA, thank you!) Dancing in the moonlight was THE BOMB ok.


This is also Squadmate Dina who was such an idiot for wearing the same necklace I was on Prom Night! And gold too! Why couldn't you get it in silver huh! She likes to blog for other people and is also known as Invisible Girl. (:



And my class!

I'm telling you 4C is like the mass gathering for Maths/Science haters. Hear us groan and you'll be blown away and really question why on earth do such things exist and join along with our groaning cos we completely won you over, and then BOOM, hello there new member of Maths/Science Hate Club!

(Possibly exaggerating here but oh well)

We were also Master Manipulators. How we'd get Mrs Foo to postpone those timed assignments even though English/Lit/Anything unmath/science are like THE periods we count down to. We pretty much do kinda get our way with other teachers too actually!

Though thinking back, they probably had no energy to disagree.

"But Mr/Mrs X, what is the point of XXXXXX?! Will we REALLY use it in the future?! Honestly. It's not like we'll be Mathematicians/Scientists!" or "But we're not in the mood!!! We JUST had TWO periods of Maths and a period of Physics, we NEED a break!" or "Come on Mrs/Mr XXXXX we can do it tomorrow and we'll do a good job! See, if we do it now right, we'll hand in low quality work!" or "Ooooh yay! English now!" or "Ok yes! We've got recess before Amaths period so we've got time to copy homework, don't need to rush in the morning."

As well as the planning when to copy the day before it's due to see whether you'll have to come early or do it during recess/reading.

Man, gotta love those days.

Then there are of course the downsides. I got louder, bitchier, and let's not get to my grasp of the second language!

I'd like to continue, but then there's this AMAZING website Taufiq recommended me the other day. Two words. I'm hooked. So yes, till the next entry. (:

Yknow right, I've actually NEVER seen your school in my whole life. Seriously. I know right, I is sucks damn sua ku etc.

That's cos it's right inside lah. as in, you cant just "drive pass it" you have to go inside to actually see it. Kinda like Opera, but maybe like um, on Dido Street or something, like the inside inside streets.

And hey Dina!!! Hahah maybe lah huh. We couldnt even tell the colour we both got under those lights (or lack of) right? And excuse me, think you were just as bothered lor. You did this dramatic gasp ok. I rmb clearly. (:

(Oh and btw, yeah I kinda already know I rock, hahah. But it's nice to hear it from someone else other than myself! Lol)
